Kunstforum Wien gives home to the paintings of the American Artist Georgia O’Keeffe. Her world tour reaches Vienna on the 11th of November.

A fun fact about her: she is the number one on the list of the most expensive artists. She became popular wih her abstract-style paintings. Her erotic flowers, that made sure she has a place amongst the best painters of the century, are well-known.

Vienna celebrates two important dates this year!

This year is the 100th anniversary of Franz Joseph’s death. Several events and programmes celebrate his memory, Vienna will be dressed up for the occasion.

Also the Museum of Fine Arts is proud to have its 125th birthday this year! A special exhibition takes place in the museum. Moreover, on the 17th of October the museum welcomes everyone as guests.
